END OF YEAR SCHOOL NEWS: ENRICHMENT WEEK 2025-26!
What a fantastic way to round off another successful year at #TeamRatton!
The final week of term saw students immerse themselves in our annual #EnrichmentWeek, enjoying a wide range of activities, experiences and opportunities designed to inspire curiosity, encourage participation and, most importantly, have some fun together before the summer holidays.
From creative challenges and sporting activities to teamwork-based experiences, educational visits and opportunities to explore new interests, Enrichment Week is always one of the highlights of the Ratton calendar.
While the week provides a welcome change of pace from normal lessons, its purpose goes far beyond simply having fun. Enrichment gives students the opportunity to connect with peers outside of their usual friendship groups and routines, encourages them to try something new, and helps strengthen the sense of inclusion, belonging and community that sits at the heart of school life here at #TeamRatton.
Mr Peevers, Headteacher, said:
“Enrichment Week is a wonderful reflection of what makes Ratton such a special community. It provides our students with opportunities to challenge themselves, build new friendships and enjoy experiences that sit beyond the classroom. Seeing students embrace new activities, support one another and simply enjoy being part of our school community is something we are incredibly proud of. It is a fitting way to celebrate another successful year together.”
As ever, our students represented themselves and the school brilliantly throughout the week. Their enthusiasm, positivity, kindness and exceptional behaviour ensured that every activity was a success.
We would like to congratulate all of our students for embracing the opportunities on offer and for the mature and respectful manner in which they conducted themselves throughout the week.
A huge thank you must also go to our incredible staff team. Enrichment Week may look effortless from the outside, but it takes an enormous amount of planning, organisation and dedication behind the scenes to create these opportunities for students (big shout-out to Mr Kearsey here!).
Whether leading activities, organising visits, supervising trips or simply helping ensure everything runs smoothly, our staff go above and beyond to make the week such a memorable experience.
Thank you for everything you do for our students.
As we close the chapter on another academic year, we look back with immense pride at everything our students have achieved. Enrichment Week provided the perfect reminder that school is about far more than lessons and qualifications; it is about experiences, friendships, confidence, personal growth and creating a community where everyone feels valued and included.
And finally, a special message for our new #TeamYear7 students joining us in September…
Enrichment Week is just one of the many exciting experiences that await you during your time at Ratton. We can’t wait to watch you grow, develop new friendships, discover your passions and become valued members of our school community over the next five years.
Your Ratton journey is about to begin, and we are so excited to welcome you to #TeamRatton.
