Scope Specific feedback and suggestions for improvement of:

• Communication.
• New initiatives.
• School events.
• Parents evening format/school reports format.
• School trips/Enrichment/Sports Day.
• Curriculum/Exams/Options (Y8/Y9/Y11).
• Homework.
• Views on school policies when they are updated e.g., Behaviour/Homework.
• E-safety.
• Mental Health & Wellbeing.
• Use of the school environment.
• Rewards and Consequences.
• Fundraising and business links/contacts to support school.
• WWW/EBI for each term.

Items relating to specific pupils, specific parents or individual school staff should be discussed one to one with the relevant teacher, Year Leader, Curriculum Leader, or member of SLT. It is not a forum to raise complaints about any individual or policy; there is a complaints process in place to address any concerns parents and carers may have.

Open to all parents and carers from Ratton School. Aim to capture a wide range of parental views from families in each year group.

• Once a term – 6 times an academic year – with a facility for a limited number of extra meetings as needed or if relevant colleague unavailable due to commitments.
• Meetings are scheduled at 5.30pm to 6.30pm and times and venues communicated in advance.
• Facility to join via Teams offered.
• Agendas and topics for discussion to be advertised in advance via the newsletter and website.
• Summary notes are posted to the school website for all parents to view, copies available from the school office upon request and in the school bulletin.
•  Meetings run to time and active participation is sought from all representatives.
•  Questions and issues to be emailed prior to the meeting.
•  The beginning of each meeting will start with the actions from the previous meeting (you said, we did).
