At Ratton we believe that scientists need an author’s words for communication, an athlete’s skill and enjoyment of practical work, a geographer’s respect and understanding of the wonders of the Earth and most importantly, the ethics and integrity to do what is right for all of humanity.

Facilities: We have nine laboratories equipped with full facilities supported by a team of three technicians and a dedicated ICT resource for students to plan, carry out and evaluate their learning.
The Science Scholar Award is a prestigious programme at Ratton School designed to celebrate students who demonstrate exceptional curiosity, commitment, and independent engagement with science. It recognises personal effort, creativity, and a passion for scientific learning beyond the classroom.
Successful candidates will be awarded the Independent Science Scholar certificate at our annual Celebration Evening, which they will be able to present to future colleges, universities and employers as an additional achievement.
