JUNE NEWS : STUDENT SHOUT-OUT – FIN L-F (YEAR 11!) – ENGLISH SCHOOLS SELECTION!
A huge#TeamYear11 student shout-out to Fin L-F, who has achieved something truly special, being selected to represent Sussex Schools in the 3,000m event at the ‘English Schools Track & Field Championships’ in Birmingham this month!
This is a tremendous honour for any young athlete and is recognition of Fin’s outstanding dedication, commitment and success in athletics over many years. His selection places him amongst some of the very best young athletes in the country and is a fantastic achievement of which he should be incredibly proud. We can’t wait to hear how he gets on!
Fin has been a fantastic ambassador for #TeamRatton, consistently demonstrating the determination, resilience and work ethic required to perform at such a high level. We have loved following his running journey throughout his time at Ratton and celebrating his many achievements along the way.
As a Year 11 student, Fin will be leaving #TeamRatton this term and preparing for the next exciting chapter of his education. While we will certainly miss having him in our school community, we know he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. We look forward to keeping up with his progress and are confident that this latest achievement will be just one of many successes still to come.
Everyone at Ratton School wishes Fin the very best as he heads to Birmingham to represent Sussex on the national stage. We will be cheering you on all the way!
