JUNE NEWS: RATTON’S FIRST-EVER PROMENADE PRODUCTION OF 'DNA' - YEAR 9 PERFORMING ARTS STUDENTS!

What a fantastic celebration of student talent, creativity and commitment earlier this term! 🤩👏🎭
Our #TeamYear9 students took to the stage (and beyond!) for Ratton School’s first-ever promenade production of ‘DNA’ by Dennis Kelly. Rather than remaining seated in a traditional theatre setting, audiences followed the action around the school site, moving through classrooms, courtyards, stairwells and outdoor spaces as the story unfolded – and what an experience it was!
With a different cast performing on each evening, both groups delivered powerful and thought-provoking performances, embracing the unique challenges of promenade theatre with confidence, professionalism and energy.
Our students dedication throughout rehearsals and performances was outstanding, and audience feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
